EZPZ Moving & Storage (“EZPZ,” “we,” “us”) provides moving and storage services in New York City and surrounding areas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at ezpzmoving.com and our quote, chat, phone, and booking tools, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Quote and booking requests. When you request an estimate or book a move, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, requested move date, pickup and drop-off addresses and ZIP codes, home size, inventory and access details (for example stairs or elevator), and the estimate details generated for your move.

Chat and phone assistants. If you contact us through our website chat or by phone, we collect the contact details you share and a record or transcript of the conversation so we can prepare your quote and follow up with you.

Payments. Deposits and payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details are entered with and processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number on our systems. We keep records of payment status related to your move.

Advertising and lead forms. If you reach us through an advertisement or a lead form on a third-party platform such as Facebook or Instagram (Meta), we receive the contact and move details you submitted on that form so we can respond to your request. The platform’s own collection and use of your data is governed by its privacy policy.

Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure processes standard technical data such as IP addresses and browser information in server logs. Our website does not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use your information

• To prepare and send your moving estimate and respond to your inquiry;
• To contact you about your move by phone, email, or text message, including confirmations and follow-ups;
• To schedule, dispatch, and perform your move, and to prepare related documents such as certificates of insurance;
• To process deposits and payments and keep business records;
• To operate, secure, and improve our website and services, and to comply with legal obligations.

Text messages and calls

If you provide your phone number and consent, we may send you text messages about your quote or move (for example confirmations and reminders). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop contacting you by using the contact details below.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, and as required by law:

• Data storage: our customer and job records are stored with our database hosting providers (such as Supabase and Netlify);
• Communications: email delivery and SMS providers used to send confirmations and updates;
• Payments: Stripe, for deposits and payments;
• Route calculation: mapping services (such as Google Maps) may process pickup and drop-off addresses to calculate distances;
• Website delivery: our site is hosted on Netlify and uses Google Fonts, which means those providers process standard technical requests when the site loads;
• Legal: when required to comply with law, protect our rights, or respond to lawful requests.

Data retention

We keep quote and move records for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business and tax records, handle claims, and meet legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

You may contact us at any time to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of marketing communications. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption on our website and access controls on our internal systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are intended for adults arranging moving services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
